A life-long resident of Georgia, Hope Welborn grew up loving stories and knew from the third grade that she wanted to be a writer. She enjoys creating spine-tingling suspense that is sprinkled with romance and saturated with faith.
She has written and edited web, newsletter, and Bible study content for a nonprofit ministry. In addition to writing and directing dramas for her church, she has edited four Bible study books for her pastor, Dr. Keith Allison (available from Scripture Truth book company).
Her manuscripts have won the ACFW Genesis Contest and the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference Foundations Awards. She is represented by Tamela Hancock Murray of the Steve Laube Agency.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Georgia and is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers and Faith, Hope, & Love Christian Writers. Active in her local chapter of ACFW, she served on the Board for five years, most recently as President of ACFW North GA (2020-2021). She is a member of The Suspense Squad, a group of romantic suspense authors who interview other romantic suspense authors. She also serves as an editor and the web content coordinator for online magazine Spark Flash Fiction.
Hope currently works full-time as a Digital Content Marketing Technology Specialist for a stock market forecasting company. She enjoys drawing, singing, playing piano and organ, and acting in community theater, as well as spending time at her family’s farm.
