A life-long resident of Georgia, Hope Welborn grew up loving stories and knew from the third grade that she wanted to be a writer. She enjoys creating spine-tingling suspense that is sprinkled with romance and saturated with faith.
She has written and edited web, newsletter, and Bible study content since 2001. In addition to writing and directing dramas for her church, she also edited three Bible study books for her pastor, Dr. Keith Allison (available from Scripture Truth book company).
Her first manuscript was a finalist in the 2016 ACFW Genesis Contest for Romantic Suspense and won First Place in the 2017 Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference Foundation Awards for Fiction: Romantic Suspense. She is represented by Jim Hart of Hartline Literary Agency.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Georgia and is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers. Active in her local chapter of ACFW, she currently serves on the Board as Secretary and Communications Officer.
Hope currently works as a Web Marketing Projects Manager for a stock market forecasting company. When not reading or writing, she enjoys drawing, singing, playing and teaching piano, and acting in community theater, as well as spending time at her family’s farm.
